Son of Rand shop: an evolution of our growing design community


During Covid, we launched a shop to bring joyful design to people and support the work of emerging and independent makers during a challenging time. We carefully curated a roster of talent that isn’t well represented in the Southern region of the US and whose creations promise to elevate and make Texas lived-in spaces more uplifting and inspiring.

Our shop carries the work of several independent designers, such as the Mazzotti family from Italy, Laurence Brabant from France, and exclusive creations from local Austin artists like Hannah Lee. We knew we needed to expand our brand identity to encompass another leg of Son of Rand brand but wanted to give it its own signature. We present a compilation of our work for the shop that maintains our refined aesthetic while expanding on its playfulness with a new design system consisting of graphic elements, animations, and other marketing collateral.
